About Us

Emerald Rose Corporation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization committed to advocating, educating and removing the stigma associated with mental illness and expanding wellness service options for the seriously mentally ill.

The good news about mental illness is that recovery is possible. Early identification and treatment is of vital importance. Most people diagnosed with a serious mental illness can experience relief from their symptoms by actively participating in an individual treatment plan.

The issues of mental health and wellness are erupting in every arena.  They are connected to the promise of our youth, the productivity of our workforce, the well-being of our elders, the justice in our courts and the fabric of our families. While mental illness ranks second only to cardiovascular disease in years of life lost due to death or disability, 40% go untreated.

Mental illnesses are biologically based brain disorders. They cannot be overcome through will power and are not related to a person's character or intelligence. They are medical conditions that disrupt a person’s thinking, feeling, mood, daily functioning and ability to relate to others. People affected can be of any age, race, religion or income.

Emerald Rose is committed to advocating on behalf of the mentally ill including increasing the availability of treatment service options for the Seriously Mentally Ill. To address this need we are building Emerald Fields of Troy a residential therapy facility in Geauga County Ohio. For those who are physically capable and strive to achieve a desired level of normalcy in their life, there is hope.

Emerald Fields of Troy will provide residential therapy programs such as those offered by organizations like Hopewell in Ohio which have enabled the seriously mentally ill to recover and lead productive lives. Unfortunately, there are only six such private facilities in the United States. We will build the seventh in the USA and the second in Ohio.
